Key Foster Joins Gaylord Entertainment as Vice President of Corporate Finance and Investor Relations; Foster Comes to Gaylord From Deutsche Bank in New York City

NASHVILLE, Tenn., Apr 4, 2002 (BUSINESS WIRE) -- Gaylord Entertainment announced that Key Foster has joined the company as vice president of corporate finance and investor relations. Foster's responsibilities include capital raising, treasury and cash management, investor relations, and working with Chief Financial Officer David Kloeppel on corporate-level strategic initiatives.

"Key's previous experience as an investor, and an advisor to hospitality and real estate concerns on their strategic initiatives is a perfect fit for the needs of the company and our investors. Foster joins Gaylord from Deutsche Banc Alex. Brown Inc. in New York City, where he was a member of the Mergers, Acquisitions and Corporate Advisory Group. Foster was responsible for mergers and acquisitions in the U.S. Lodging, Leisure and Real Estate sectors.

Foster's prior experience includes: DC Investment Partners L.L.C., a private equity concern based in Nashville, Tenn., and chief investment officer for The Trust Company of Sterne, Agee & Leach, Inc. in Birmingham, Ala.

Foster received a master's degree in business administration with honors from Vanderbilt University's Owen Graduate School of Management, and a bachelor's degree in business administration from Washington and Lee University in Lexington, Va. He also holds the Chartered Financial Analyst designation.
